The town of San Eduardo -province of Santa Fe, Argentina- has been the scene of intense archaeological surveys since 2,003. A team of researchers led by Lic. Juan David Avila from UNR came to “Laguna El Doce” to retrieve material remains of ancient human settlements. But in 2,010 came the news that went around the World: radiocarbon dating gave a surprising value… 8,274 years old!
