Audiovisual Language is the heart of our activity as narrators. Paradoxically we Videographers devote so few time to it. However, it is only through it that we can tell a meaningful story. Many Videographers might assemble and disassemble a video camera with closed eyes in less than a minute, but could hardly justify two consecutive shots on the timeline. Audiovisual Language has its own rules, and we Videographers need to know them in order to tell something that could be understood, and perhaps… that cares.
